Biometric Access Control System installed on forklifts serves the purpose of preventing unauthorized driving of industrial vehicles like forklifts, stackers, and side loaders etc.

This system operates through a process known as Interless Cluster Scanned Finger Image Processing. It stores the fingerprint images of authorized operators in its database.

To initiate the operation of the forklift, the operator first sits on the driver's seat and buckles up the seat belt. The seat belt sensor then sends a signal to the biometric access control system.

The authorized operator places their finger on the biometric system, which scans and matches the fingerprint with the stored records. If the fingerprint matches an authorized user, the biometric system grants access to the forklift's engine, allowing it to be operated using a key or push button.

This biometric access control system addresses several critical concerns. Firstly, it prevents unauthorized individuals from operating the forklift, reducing the chances of accidents caused by inexperienced or unauthorized drivers.

Secondly, it curbs the abuse of forklifts, preventing them from being used for unauthorized tasks or purposes. Additionally, the system enhances overall security by ensuring that only trained and authorized operators have access to the vehicle.

40% of all forklift accidents involve a pedestrian. Ensure pedestrians stay a safe distance away from the lift truck with the Red-Zone LED Warning Light. The Red-Zone emits a red beam on the floor to keep pedestrians away preventing foot injury or collisions from rear end swing. 

These systems feature ultrasonic proximity detectors to measure the distances to nearby objects via sensors located in the rear bumper.

These sensors sense the distance between the Forklift and the object and start giving alarm if any objects come in the sensing range, whereby alerting the Forklift driver.

The system in turn warns the driver with acoustic tones, the frequency indicating object distance, with faster tones indicating closer proximity and a continuous tone indicating a minimal pre-defined distance.

This innovative system utilizes advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision techniques to enhance forklift safety. By integrating a high-resolution camera with powerful AI algorithms, the system can accurately detect pedestrians within the forklift's operating range.  For activating the device persons working in the shop floor has to put RFID tag on his helmat or hang the card from his neck.
